The Taverna Ousies aims to take you back to what is was like to eat in Greece in the 1960s and 1970s. During this time the kitchen was a way of life, where friends met in the evening to discuss the days and enjoy a glass of wine or ouzo and some food.
Food was usually served as a series of small dishes, with the guests having already taken a closer look at the pots of different foods cooking in the kitchen before deciding. This way of dining died out about forty years ago in Greece, but small taverns such as Taverna Ousies are rediscovering its beauty and introducing it once again.
