Directions to Pignut BBQ
Located in the beautiful Arminius Markthalle in Moabit, Pignut BBQ offers authentic Alabaman BBQ with family recipies that have been perfected over generations. With a bunch of items on the menu, the highlights are definitely their sticky, melt in the mouth ribs, and their delicious pulled pork and chicken sandwiches.
Open since January 2014, they have quickly built a reputation among locals and visitors alike - so much so that they often sell out - especially of the crowd favourite: Ribs! If meat isn't your thing they also do some of the best pancakes we have ever tasted: Fluffy, buttery and lathered in maple sirup.
The team behind Pignut are really friendly and delight in talking to their guests about their food or just about any other topic that comes up; just don't ask them for their recipes....they guard those with their lives!
Along with the delicious food they serve a good variety of craft beers from a bunch of different countries, and also mix up a mean mint julep.
