Weihenstephaner is the oldest brewery still in operation and at Weihenstephaner Berlin you can try a number of their beers with Weißbier (wheatbeer), Helles (light larger), Dunkle (dark larger), Pilsner, or alcohol free beer on tap. In addition to the draft varieties there are also a handful of bottled beers on offer as well as a decent wines selection. Beer can be ordered in a variety of sizes including the traditional Bavarien 1 litre glass known as the Maß.
Alongside some pretty damn tasty beers you will find a great selection of traditional meals from the Bavarian alps. During warmer months it is quite nice to sit outside either on Hackescher Markt, or in their quiter back courtyard. For something extra special though, their vaulted cellar offers a charm and cosy atmosphere perfect for both romantic dinners or small groups.
