Metzer Eck in Prenzlauer Berg is a traditional German family run business, in the same family since 1913!
In this cozy little place you will find German home cooking for one of the cheapest prices in Berlin. This place is definitely a pub with food rather than a restaurant with a wine list. The beer is on tap, the atmosphere is 100% Berlin and prices extremely good.
A nice touch are all the old photos and documentation on the history of the building and the neighbourhood. It's nice to see such a long heritage displayed with such pride within the establishment.
