Tierpark

Berlin

Zoos and Aquariums

Berlin is lucky enough to have two zoos, and Tierpark feels a bit more like a sort of land safari. With wide-open spaces and plenty of animals roaming around, you get the feeling you're looking at the furry and feathered residents in more natural surroundings. Watch a camel or a monkey wander by, and spot many different types of exotic and colourful birds as you explore the park.

There are lions and tigers and bears (oh my!), lemurs and elephants, and plenty of other critters. Show up at feeding time, watch the elephants bathing, or take the family on one of the Sunday guided tours. If you're lucky enough to go in spring, you can spot lots of newly born baby animals. Take the U5 to 'Tierpark' station - Tierpark is open every day from 9-5pm.
