Humboldt Forum
More Than One Museum
The diversity that characterizes the Humboldt Forum program is also reflected in the institutional interaction. The Humboldt Forum is made up of four experienced partners from culture and science.
The Humboldt Forum is much more than a museum - by bringing together outstanding collections and with a diverse program of exhibitions, events, education and digital offerings, the visit stimulates new insights into the world of yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Who We Are: One house, four actors – the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation (SPK) is working in partnership on this pioneering project with the Ethnological Museum and the Museum of Asian Art of the Berlin State Museums (SMB), Cultural Projects Berlin and the Berlin City Museum, the Humboldt University of Berlin (HU) and the Humboldt Forum Foundation in the Berlin Palace.
A declaration by the heads of the actors formulates the common understanding and goals of the Humboldt Forum. The mission statement with five principles developed by employees of all actors serves as a guideline for action and orientation for collaboration on this unique project.
