Chamäleon Theater Berlin

The Art Nouveau ballroom that houses the Chamäleon Theater in Berlin Mitte is a beautiful and traditional element of the Hackescher Höfe that has been restored to its former glory. This old ballroom is now a wonderfully intimate theatre which presents stunning shows melding new circus and physical theatre, with a focus on artistry and storytelling.

You will find yourself holding your breath as you witness amazing feats of strength, balance and artistry including juggling, balancing, climbing, swinging, spinning and twirling in a venue that is so intimate you almost feel like you are on stage.  

Before the performance, you are able to enjoy a bite to eat in the theatre with offerings from three-course seasonal meals to something for a small hunger such as cheese platters or dipping plates.  Chamäleon also has a fully stocked bar serving everything from delicious cocktails to tasty draught and bottled beers as well as an extensive wine list.  They even have their very own house wine produced in the Mosel region, available by the glass or bottle. 

The show featured at the Chamäleon Theatre changes every 6 months or so, with performances from Berlin-based artists as well as international touring companies taking up residence for the season, so you are bound to see something new on your next visit to Berlin and your return to the Chamäleon Theatre.

Join the charismatic ensemble of actors, dancers, and acrobats on a fantastic adventure and wild journey to the moon. Imaginative, heartfelt, absolutely crazy, and wonderfully amusing!
