An 'Eck' in Berlin is known as a corner pub, but this classy, warm little restaurant is more than your average dingy bar. With an excellent German menu at reasonable prices, you will eat by candlelight at wooden tables amongst the lovely nostalgic vintage posters on the walls.
On warmer days or nights you might like to sit out the front and watch the world go by, order a wine or draught beer and choose from their regularly changing fresh menu. We recommend this place if you are looking for a traditional German dining experience but without heading to a cavernous Brauhaus (beer hall) to find it. Sophien Eck is a bit more of an intimate and local dining experience.
