The Oscar Wilde was the first Irish pub to open in Mitte in 1991 but the beautiful old building has been standing since 1912 and has been run as a dance hall in the 20's and a nightclub from the 50's to the 80's.
This great, green establishment is a fun and friendly place to hang out with mates, locals and travellers and drink your fill of beers like Kilkenny, Newcastle Brown Ale, Foster's or of course a Guinness. They also have a kitchen so you can order some classic home cooked pub food like steaks, pies and stews.
Whilst you drink, dine and relax you can enjoy the regular entertainment on offer here every Friday and Saturday night with live music, DJs or karaoke. In the soccer season, come here to see the games on two big screens plus do not miss the fabulous quiz night on Thursdays! See the website for details.
