The Tirree café bar and art gallery is relatively new in to the neighbourhood of Moabit. Located right near the Birkenstraße U-Bahn station and only open since August 2013, it has quickly become very popular with locals in the area. Open from 7.30am till 10pm it is the perfect place to feed your belly or your caffeine addiction whenever the need arises.
The atmosphere in the café is warm and cosy with a mix match of chairs, tables, benches and couches sitting against exposed brick and wood panels. The food is fresh, yummy and home made on the premises, eat in or to go.
Tirree have regularly changing art exhibitions lining the walls, occasional concerts and even vintage clothing sales! Next door they have opened a bar so when the café closes you can keep going till late into the night. This is a treasured local hangout where you definitely wont feel like a tourist. Feel free to strike up a conversation with the friendly staff, read a book, or if you are bored you can sit and chat to the café dog, Karl... he'll tell you some stories.
