Berlin
This old Kneipe was a home away from home for the politicians who moved to Berlin from Bonn after German reunification. Opened in 1997, The Stäv bar and restaurant offers traditional German food like Currywurst, Flammkuchen and Himmel und Ääd, plus they also serve many different beers, including the Kölsch beer, Gaffel, only brewed in Cologne.
They get a lot of celebrities visiting this pub, mostly German but some international too and the walls are lined with framed pictures of their customers and members of German political history.
A great place to celebrate the Cologne Carnival at Easter time, you wont get any more German than this riverside establishment.
