The atmosphere was welcoming, relaxing, and beautifully designed, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. I truly appreciated the care, I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to everyone!
Really friendly service and good variety of fresh oysters. Nice wine selection as well. Really enjoyed our evening!
French restaurant that specializes in shellfish/seafood. Given the price, I'd give it 2.5 stars. The salmon tartare tastes like guacamole, there is no salmon flavor present whatsoever. The Duck confit plating was rather underwhelming, duck was not tender, presented with 2 pieces of lettuce and 5 cubes of potatoes, rather disappointing, let alone for that price. The mussels themselves were cooked well, the broth was mediocre. The place itself smelled off, that was the first thing we noticed. Charging 8 euro for a bottle of still water is something else. On the plus side, the service was excellent and both waiters were super friendly and attentive! Outside of the service, I was quite disappointed.
Had an amazing dinner at Volk! The food was outstanding – we tried the sole meunière, buttery and perfectly cooked, and the duck confit with potatoes, tender and full of flavor. The squid rings were another highlight – very tasty and crispy. For dessert, we had the pistachio crème brûlée and baba au rhum – both were absolutely delicious and the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The wines here are also excellent, pairing beautifully with the dishes. Service was attentive and the atmosphere made the evening even more enjoyable. Definitely a place worth coming back to!
