I want to like the place so so much , since it’s the place everyone hyped about. But it was quite a disappointment for what they are selling - concept wise, food taste is not bad 1. The waiter should have better knowledge of how many dishes the guest should order. 2. I understand the hearty dishes serve after the lighter fish dish but still please inform your guest about the preparation time, especially in hot summer time 3. Don’t ask us about whether we want to order dessert while also telling us we have 10 mins left for our table - just let us pay and go. I just want to say lot of restaurants got their frame but forget why they trying to promote at the beginning . I truly hope Otto figure it’s shit out, I still root for you:)
By far one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The execution and flavor of every single dish was perfect. The staff is welcoming as well, even though I did not have a reservation they did offer me some options. I do recommend the desserts if you can get both like the ones on the pictures you will not be disappointed. Personally one of the most outstanding dishes was the beetroot such a unique texture and tenderness something I haven’t tasted before in such a way. Also the fish one of my favorites.
This was my third time at otto and I am yet to be disappointed. I think their characterisation as a small neighbourhood restaurant is perfect. It’s not a Michelin star type place where everything is perfect. Instead you get really high quality food, with charming waiters for very fair prices. I will always come back for the beetroot
Run, don't walk to this place. Actually, make a reservation before, cause it's small but then run. Absolutely magnificent and tasteful experience. Their modern take on German cuisine and ingredients is spectacular. Staff is really friendly and professional. I definitely recommend to sit at the chef's table cause this adds so much more to the overall experience.
