I can't tell you what a lovely experience we had at this restaurant, which we wandered into quite by chance, really, after it popped up on an internet search at the end of a hectic day exploring Berlin. Our host was welcoming and funny, the space was elegant but dramatic, too, and that same sense of choreography made its way to the plate, resulting in a dining experience that was truly flavourful in every sense of the word. I had the sheesh taook. The attention to detail was a joy to behold. Every single flavour had been meticulously planned and executed to perfection, right down to the taste of the rice and the roasted cashews nestled on top of it. When heart and professionalism meet, it's a powerful thing. We saw both in this restaurant.
I am not sure what to make of this restaurant. It tries to offer a more sophisticated dining experience but it kinda fails to do so. The menu is pretty smal, which usually is a good thing, but when we went there, the one item we wanted to eat was not available. It was at lunch and when we asked how long we would have to wait we were told its simply not available at that day. We still stayed. The staff was.... fine, I guess. They didnt exactly interact more than necessary with us and when we wanted to pay we actually had to search for a person. The food itself was fine, but some of the things felt insanely overpriced. Berlin has way too much food alternatives in this food category to make this feel fine.
Exceptional service and atmosphere A wonderful place with a great vibe. Everything is well-organized, clean, and thoughtfully done. The staff makes you feel genuinely welcome every time
Such a lovely spot to spend an evening. The place has a calm, inviting energy that makes you want to stay longer than planned. Everything felt thoughtfully done, from the interior to the way the dishes were presented. The food was fresh and full of flavor, and the overall experience just felt easy and enjoyable. Service was warm and natural. Definitely one of those places you keep in mind for a relaxed night out.
I have been here three times. Our first visit was the best and was definitely better value, but I feel everything is overpriced now.
