My first Peking duck in Berlin and it did not disappoint. Service was excellent: fast and attentive. We had a great group dinner!
I am visiting Germany for two weeks from US and been craving for some more authentic tastes of Chinese food. Too many noodles places and not enough good Chinese restaurants ( I am Asian btw). Two days before going home, I finally found my fried rice and a bowl of Hot and sour soup. Every taste as I expected from an Asian taste buds. Highly recommend.
Stopped by Jiale for lunch between exhibitions — a place that feels genuinely thoughtful in every detail. The Sichuan-style cold chicken and twice-cooked pork tasted truly authentic, with deep, well-balanced flavors. The winter bamboo shoots were fresh and beautifully cooked. You can tell the kitchen takes its craft seriously. The space is bright and refreshing, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended.
Ordered the Peking duck, it was genuinely tasty. The cumin lamb was delicious too, but the Sichuan fish was just okay and didn’t feel as authentic as I expected. On the plus side, the service was really great.
So delicious and comforting after two weeks in Europe we just need our Asia food craving fix. To be honest, usually in foreign countries, I tend to lower my expectations in their Chi food, but this place surprised me! If u enjoy Chi delights, this place is a must-visit and Peking duck is a mandate 😋😋 I’ve had many Peking ducks in different places and this is really good! The skin is crispy and meat savory and juicy. The steamed bun is hot and soft goes well with the meat They gave a lot of crepe wraps for us to go with the duck The fried rice is yummy too, might be even better if it’s drier and not so soggy. But some may prefer it this way 🤷♀️ In any case it’s very satisfying! The service staff were friendly and helpful too! When we asked if we should order more or lesser, they gave good suggestions !
