Over the years I have eaten at all the branches of Amrit Restaurant and always had a good experience, my personal favourite being Amrit Schöneberg. The hospitality is exceptional, wonderful ambience with a nice touch of Indian music and art transporting you back to India. The staff is super nice and friendly, very warm and welcoming. A special shout out goes to Prasad ji, Vishnu, Suman, Dolan, Soumya, Amanpreet, Pushpa, Tarun, Monu, Uzzul (and others whose names I don't remember) for always catering to my needs and making my every visit special. I have tried everything from their vegetarian menu and all the dishes are prepared in authentic Indian style, delicious to taste and generous in portion with an option of extra portion of rice (free of charge). They also offer a large variety of non-vegetarian dishes, tasty cocktails and mocktails. The service is fast and the quality of food is always great, making me a regular at Amrit and a go to spot for Indian food in Berlin. I get the perks of ordering food off of the menu like "Puri sabji" and always tailor made to my taste "desi style and spicy". They also offer business lunch during the weekdays and often have new dishes in their monthly special menu. For birthday celebrations, the staff joins in to sing "Happy Birthday" adding that special touch! My special compliments to all the chefs for preparing such great food non-stop.

The dining experience here is a solid 8. The ambience and hospitality would be the highlight. The food portions are pretty good too. Naturally, being an Indian restaurant, they cater the vegetarian palate without comprising on taste. Could easily be a go-to spot if you’re out and about for especially for a dining experience.
