Eschenbräu, located in Wedding just a short stroll from the Wedding S-Bahn station is an absolute gem of a bar, in an area of Berlin that is not really known for its great nightlife. In summer, they open a huge beer garden where you can sit under an ancient oak tree and enjoy your beer. In winter, or when the weather isn't playing nice, there is room for 150 guests to sit in the cellar, among the beer tanks and brew equipment.
The atmosphere in the garden as well as the cellar is really wonderful, and is a lot more chilled and friendly than the majority of Berlin's bars and beer gardens.
One thing that we love is that you are allowed to bring your own food so you can bring a picnic or some snacks to enjoy in the wonderful surrounds while sipping on a delicious local beer.
