C-base Raumstation

If you can find the entrance through several courtyards and unsigned doors, entering c-base is actually like boarding a space station. Well, either that or walking onto the set of a 1980's science fiction film. As far as hacker spaces go, this one is legendary. Expect friendly staff, secure WiFi, and all sorts of weird and wonderful geek-like creations and deco: robots, gadgets, aliens, you name it. Admire the surroundings and check out the home-made multi-touch table and the Atari cash register system. If possible, take the highly recommended special tour that comes with a whole range of epic stories and legends.

In summer, you can chill by the Spree in the riverside garden. Beer is well-priced, and there are plenty of activities and events going on: computing workshops, awesome nerd parties, and open stages for bands to strut their stuff. Hackers, nerds, geeks, and developers: definitely worth a visit.
