Expath was set up to help the growing expat community in Berlin with all things German. In addition to language classes from beginner to advanced, they also offer workshops and coaching on all the bureaucratic processes you need to know about living in Berlin. In this sense, they are a bit different to your more traditional language school and this is precisely what their students love about it.
Their schedule is perfectly designed with the working expat in mind. Regardless of when you work, you should be able to find a class here to suit your schedule with a number of evening and weekend course options available. Expath has also decided not to adhere to the traditional 'only German spoken during German class' teaching methodology, meaning that it is acceptable to ask a question in English if there is something that you didn't understand.
Class sizes are nice and intimate, with an average of 8 participants. If you are looking to get started in a hurry, they offer a fast progression through the beginners level A1.1 over two weekends.
