Lovely Italian restaurant with incredibly friendly staff! The Pizza Margarita and Carbonara were delicious and very generous portions. Fabulous location and would highly recommend.
Terrazza Portofino was an absolute highlight of our visit. The atmosphere is stunning, with beautiful views that make the whole experience feel special from the moment you arrive. The food was fresh, flavorful, and presented with real attention to detail. What truly made the difference, though, was the service. Adriano and Bimi were exceptional — attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. They made sure everything was perfect without being intrusive, and their positive energy really elevated the whole evening. If you’re looking for a place with great food, a relaxing vibe, and outstanding service, Terrazza Portofino is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommended!
we went last sunday evening. i would give a much lower rating just for the way one of the waiters acted, but the food was actually good so i'm giving the restaurant a fair rating. when we stepped in there was someone behind the bar wiping glasses who greeted us, but because nobody walked up to us we grabbed a couple of the menus to look through. suddenly a waiter came up and was strangely so upset saying something like "this is not self service!" it was a bit difficult to understand his accent so we were confused what he meant, we thought they had no tables available because we felt we were being shooed away. he then said "you cannot just take the menus!" then his colleague behind the counter sort of reprimanded him, he looked just as shocked as we were. once we were seated the waiter again came up to us and still looked so angry, he pressed on "it's rude what you did, you know!". we were stunned at that point because looking through menus ourselves has never been a problem with restaurants i've been through in all my life. and when we barely even said a word to him, as we were mostly confused what was going on and the only person acting rude in that place was him. whatever his problem is, if he had a bad day or what, that shouldn't be an excusable reason to take it out on innocent people especially at the place you work.
I love this place. it’s a true Italian hidden gem. The Parma pizza is amazing, especially the dough: crispy and crunchy, not like a Neapolitan-style base. I always order Parma pizza! I also recently tried the fresh truffle gnocchi with goat cheese… mamma mia, it was delicious. I highly recommend it. On weekdays, they offer a very affordable lunch menu that includes a starter, a main dish, and coffee. Since it’s a very local spot, paying in cash is recommended, although they do accept card payments as well. The staff are super nice and friendly! Most of them are Italian.
We had a reservation but arrived an hour early with a group of 8, which was no problem at all. The pizzas are good, prices are fair, and the limoncello is perfect. Very friendly staff.
