We finally had time to visit, and it was a good call to reserve because it was really busy. The vibe was great, though the smell of smoke nearby was a bit distracting; a designated area would help. Service was surprisingly fast and attentive despite the crowd, and our waiter kept us updated the whole time. Most of the food was delicious, except the Scampi Pasta wasn’t quite my taste. Overall, a place I’d go back to.
Visting Berlin and trying places. I've visited a lot of countries and places in the past 10 years. Pro vs Cons of this place here: Pros: AMAZING atmosphere. The park, the air, the chill vibe of people around -> they all work in harmony and create a place that makes you WANT to stay here. It's incredibly beautiful. Food is quite good. Not the best I've had, bit this is not an exquisit restaurant, it is a cafe in a park, close to a water stream. For a cafe, it has really good food and good desserts as well. Cons: Pretty slow service. People are alright, but the timing was rather...slow. For both the food, and the beverages. Conclusions: Come here if you want to relax, have a great and chill time, have nice, long discussions with friends or just if you want to have some time in nature with food, desserts and beverages. Make sure you take your time when you come here. Patience and nature are key words.
The atmosphere was great, you get to enjoy the beautiful lake. I feel the prices are bit on the higher end in comparison to the food. The service was good, however in my case it happened that I ordered and asked the staff to repeat my order and still received a wrong order. Apparently the dish that I ordered was out of stock. I am deducting 1star because of this confusion between the staff, if they could have informed about this earlier, it would have saved quite some time.
