Amazing location near Potsdammer Platz. Famous for Indian food. The decor is interesting. The staff is very friendly and polite. Service is very quick. They serve the best mango Lassi in town. Food could be better.

Consistently good restaurant with tasty food, good service, and a fantastic location. It can get quite noisy at times. One small tip: avoid the tables near the entrance if you prefer a quieter meal. During our visit, staff were actively greeting and attracting potential customers outside, which made that area a bit distracting. Overall, a very pleasant place to dine.

Indian restaurant a bit over rated. Very nice interior design and decor providing Indian atmosphere. inside and outside seating providing more then 100 places easily. Great service, patient and welcoming. Food was a bit disappointing, samosas were very taisty, no traces of oil although fried. Birani lamb was a bit dri and with small amount of lamb. Expected for a bit more after all the high raiting.

I had very high hopes as it was hyped to be the best indian restaurant in Berlin. If this is the case, boy do they have a lot to catch up to. Food was very bland, especially the palak panir - literally had no taste. The butter chicken was also nothing to write home about - also bland and watery. We tried one more dish with shrimp, but they were seriously overcooked to the point they were rubbery. It was nice and spicy though. We were served two big bowls of rice, but the amount was a lot more than necessary, seems like a waste. The salad we tried barely qualifies for such. Just because you put some vegetables in a plate does not make it a salad. I don't think i'll visit again.

We had a great experience at Amrit. The food was full of flavor, well spiced, and clearly prepared fresh. The curries were rich without being heavy, and the naan was soft and perfectly baked. Service was fast, polite, and efficient, even though the place was busy. The staff knew the menu well and gave clear recommendations. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, suitable for both a relaxed dinner and a quick meal. Portions are generous and prices are fair for the quality. If you are looking for reliable, well executed Indian cuisine in Berlin, this place delivers. Would definitely return.
