Granny Korean Food serves up some of the most comforting, authentic dishes in town—it really feels like a home-cooked meal from a loving grandmother. However, be prepared to wait. The line frequently stretches out the door, and we waited nearly an hour for a table, followed by a bit of a kitchen delay.
The cocktails were terrible and WAY too sweet (even the soju sour was sweet....), so after one round we just ordered beers. They have a million songs (English and Korean), but we still didn't find many of the songs we wanted to sing. And the private room was 35 degrees hot. But we still had an absolute blast and enjoyed the karaoke night. 100% would do it again.
I’m not living nearby, and just randomly went there and picked one restaurant to eat. I went to the restaurant alone on Friday. After the waiter showed me to my seat, the waiter just told me with a bad attitude: “You should reserve the seat on Fridays and Saturdays, even you are alone” If you just refused me to eat inside, I would be fine. Or if you have a rule about reservations on Fri & Sat, I would just follow your rule. I think I don’t need to pay for the complain Btw the food was good
As soon as we walked in, it felt like stepping into a time capsule — the retro interior instantly transported us back to the 80s. There’s even a karaoke room inside, which adds to the fun atmosphere. The food was excellent. I especially loved the seafood pancake — it was packed with ingredients and full of flavor. I’m already looking forward to trying more items on the menu. The staff member who served us was attentive and made sure everything was okay, giving us great service throughout our visit. 🥹
We were lucky to discover this authentic Korean restaurant in Berlin, a family-run business serving delicious Korean food. We thoroughly enjoyed the exceptional hospitality and food, all at reasonable prices. and generous portions. The homemade banchan served with the dishes truly showcased the authenticity of the cuisine. We had the seafood pancake, bibimmyeon & deopbab I’m already looking forward to visiting this restaurant again when I’m back in Berlin next! And it will be wise to make a reservation ahead of your visit!
