Brauhaus Südstern, located on Hasenheide on the border of Kreuzberg and Neukölln in Berlin's southeast offers classic Berlin cuisine and house brewed beer. With plenty of indoor and outdoor seating this is a great place to visit any time of the year. The interior is warm and inviting, with exposed brick walls, and dark timber features - the perfect ambience for a chilly winters evening. During the warmer months, though, you just have to sit outside. There is seating for around 60 on the terrace facing the street, or tucked out the back on the edge of the lovely Volkspark Hasenheide is a beer garden.
Enjoy the view out to the park while you drink some very tasting house brewed beer which includes a Helle Stern (light larger), Dunkler Stern (Dark Larger) and a Stern Weisse (Wheat Beer). The beers are served fresh, unfiltered, and un-pasturised and are pretty damn tasty!
