Sprachsalon Berlin
Berlin
Sprachsalon is a cosy, independent language school located in Kreuz-Kölln, the cool neighbourhood found at the border of Kreuzberg and Neukölln. Established in 2011, Sprachsalon is the perfect place to study if you are looking for a friendly, personal atmosphere in which to learn German. In keeping with the size of the school, class sizes are also small, with between 6 and 11 students, ensuring that you get plenty of valuable attention from your teacher. Teachers are engaged, passionate, and qualified, and make the most the small class setting to ensure that their students thrive.
Class Options
The school offers a range of different courses including intensive, evening and weekend courses. Intensive classes run either mornings or afternoons. It is also possible to book private one on one tutoring through the school.
Literature and Creative Writing Course
In addition to their regular language courses, Sprachsalon also offers two additional courses for students who have attained at least level B1.2. You can choose from two options in the literature course: either German poetry or modernist literature where you will read and analyse various texts while at the same time, improving your German. In the creative writing course, you'll be supported by your teacher to create works of fiction.
Drawing and Painting Courses
For beginners and advanced students
Working in small groups with personal attentive instructions and guidance throughout the learning and creative process. Students who consider themselves beginners will focus on establishing and developing the fundamental and basic pictorial tools in our pictorial toolkit - The Eye and the Hand communication - The Line and Form, Tonal Values (Dark to Light), the intuitive sense of proportion and perspective, how to create the sensation of space and plasticity in a two dimensional surface. Students with more experience will be taking these aspects even further into a level where a personal authenticity can occur and the development of a personal language within the pictorial language can naturally happen.
Facilities
Sprachsalon has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, and from the moment you open the door, you feel at home.
