inlingua Berlin

inlingua Berlin is perfectly located within walking distance of most major attractions - perfect if you are visiting Berlin and wish to explore the city during your stay.

Directions to inlingua Berlin

inlingua is a worldwide network of language schools established in 1968 in Switzerland which has grown to over 300 centres in 35 countries.  inlingua Berlin opened its doors in 1989 and combines the benefits of a large organisation with many personal touches usually only seen in more boutique language schools.  Courses are capped at 12 participants, with an average of 6 in winter and 10 in summer.  In Summer they also offer a cultural and free time program which is a great way to get to know Berlin as well as practice your newly learned German.

Classes

inlingua Berlin offers intensive German courses which run from Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm.  They also offer additional options including their Intensive 26 course which includes the regular course plus conversation classes 3 afternoons per week, as well as their Combi-10 course which features the regular course plus 10 one on one lessons per week.  inlingua Berlin also offers evening courses which are perfect for people already living and working in Berlin.

Location

inlingua couldn't be more conveniently located.  You will find them right in the middle of Berlin, a short walk from many different tourist attractions like Checkpoint Charlie, Gendarmenmarkt, or the Brandenburger Tor.  The school is easy to reach by public transport from most parts of Berlin.

Exams

TestDaF and all Telc examinations are offered if you need a particular language qualification for either work or study in Germany.  To get you ready for the exam, inlingua Berlin also offers exam preparation courses.

Cultural Program

Over the warmer months, inlingua also runs a diverse cultural program with around 5-6 different activities per week and includes everything from tours, gallery and museum visits, pub nights, and even day trips to neighbouring cities like Dresden or Leipzig.

Accommodation

  • Homestay:  stay with a local in your private room.  There are a couple of different options to chose from including self-catering, breakfast or full-board.

  • Hostel:  inlingua has a co-operation with two hostels in Berlin.

  • Hotel:  On request, inlingua can provide a list of Hotels within an easy walking distance of the school.

Additional Learning Material

Upon commencing your course you will receive access to the inlingua online learning tool.  With over 8000 exercises, the iOL is a great way to reinforce many of the concepts and vocabulary that you have learned in class.

inlingua City Hopping. Berlin - Munich

This is a great program that allows you to split your time between inlingua Berlin and inlingua Munich.  Get the best of both worlds, from Berlin's famous nightlife and cultural attractions to Munich's more traditional atmosphere.

Funded Course options
