PLUS Berlin Hotel and Hostel

Plus Berlin is best described as either a budget hotel or a luxury hostel.  While still offering great prices, Plus Berlin also manages to include a pool, sauna, courtyard, restaurant and bar, bbq area, football pitch and games room...they even offer a free Yoga class on Tuesdays!

They also operate an artist in residence program, with a number of artists working out of a space in the courtyard.  The courtyard is filled with some amazing sculptures.  For a unique souvenir of your visit to Berlin you can buy a painting direct from the artist.  Everywhere you walk at Plus Berlin there is some form of art to look at, from the massive street art paintings on the walls of the reception area, to all manner of artwork lining the walls of every corridor.  We are sure that more than a few people get so caught up admiring the artwork that they walk right past their room.

Located a beautiful heritage listed building, Plus Berlin could hardly be better located.  It is only 10 minutes from Alexanderplatz with the S-Bahn and within walking distance of some of Berlin's best bars, clubs and eateries.  Ask one of the friendly reception or bar staff for a hot tip on where to go or get chatting to your fellow travellers in one of their great common rooms.

We are not sure how they manage it, but their prices are also great, with a bed in a 6 bed dorm from €10 and private hotel rooms from €22 per person!
