It's very nice place, in historical center. There is a huge choice of traditional Berlin dishes. The place is beautiful and cousy- give your really feeling of home. The service was excellent. Portions are big but extremely tasty, so you just have to finish everything. They traditional desserts are amazing too . We definitely will be back in our next visit to Berlin.

Food is good with the duck and fish. But your waiter is being unfriendly towards Asian. We came Berlin on a summer and we had a portable fan on, your waiter receive a complaint that our fan is too loud when the sound of it is even softer than your TV. Your waiter did not explain to us clearly that they receive a complain from a local. This is the first restaurant I encounter in EUROPE that complain customer for using a portable fan. I kindly requested for a fan and your restaurant doesn't offer it during summer. Your waiter named "R" has been aggressive with me when I questioned him the usability of the fan on a hot weather above 30degree, not knowing Europe is having a heatwave. He even questioned my ethics class instead of protecting the interest of every class of tourist. GREATLY disappointed on how I was treated in Berlin. Seems like it's a restaurant that only favour LOCALS, instead of telling the locals it's ok and let the Asians to enjoy the cooling of the fan from the extreme heat. If the locals would like to have a quiet environment, waiter should offer them to sit inside because I'm sitting corner outside. Your waiter could have enquire whether I'm really hot and having dehydration and overheat rather than telling me straight up that my portable fan is too noisy and ask me to turn off, even questioning my manners when I told him we are in extreme heat. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant due to the inability of waiter to handle conflicts between customers. At the end, it's only a 60 EURO meal.

Delicious German food in Berlin. Though we ended up with way too much food for 2 people. Be warned, the portion sizes are big here! The pork knuckle in particular is incredibly generous and could probably be shared.

The food here is so delicious! Although the portion was a bit too big for us, the fabulous food made us finish all. The knuckle was crispy outside and soft inside. The chips were also quite crispy and they were not salty(which is good for me). The chicken escalope was juicy and tender. We enjoyed the meal so much!
