Schleusenkrug Biergarten

Schleusenkrug, located on a sluice/lock on Berlin's Landwehrkanal started life as a kiosk, serving snacks and refreshing beverages to passanges and workers passing through the canal.  In 1954 the Fistler family built and opened what has become one of Berlin's most loved Beer gardens.  Within walking distance of the Zoo and the Tiergarten, Schleusenkrug's  makes for a pleasant stop during a day of sightseeing or equally a great spot to send a few hours drinking a beer, eating something from the grill and soaking up Berlin's amazing summer atmosphere.  Open daily from 10am till Midnight you can get breakfast until 2pm or hot food from 12pm till 10pm.

A word of warning:  Schleusenkrug doesn't accept card so make sure you have enough cash!
