Reviews
A very welcoming and relaxing vibe in the bar. Often very busy. The staff are great and though it did seem to be cash only in the afternoon, when I have been there jn the evenings they have card terminals readily available. It is a cornerstone of the community scene and its easy to see why 💙
Sometimes the staff is friendly, sometimes not. Only cash bar (come on, it's 2026). Very nice mixed audience (all ages , sizes, some in gear),.plenty of outdoor seating, smoker area inside is closed off by real doors (amazing 💪), so smokers can have their cigarettes but the bar doesn't smell like nicotine everywhere 👍
The bar is decent but it’s unbelievable in the 21st century that they don’t accept card payments. When I asked the bartender why they didn’t they honestly explained that they wouldn’t receive as much in tips if people paid by card. I think it’s cold-hearted to exploit drunk people for more money – such a shame.
Went here twice now, last weekend and a year ago and this is the best meeting spot in Berlin if you’re looking to wind down and talk around, seems like everyone is open for a talk and welcoming with open arms, great mix of majority locals and some tourists like myself. Staff is nice, music is great and beer is reasonable price. And if you do end up having something bad to say on google reviews, you’ll end up on their toilet
