Hackbarth's

Hackbarth's came along well before the hip galleries and bars took over its neighbourhood. Now located in a former bakery space in Mitte, it's a cute and cosy hangout for breakfasts, snacks, and top quality coffees during the day, and evening drinks after dark. The crowd is relaxed, easy-going, and a little eclectic: there are plenty of artistic types about.

The friendly service and attentive bar service is what makes the regulars keep coming back night after night. The excellent quality food, snacks, and coffee means that breakfast is just as pleasant here. In the summer months, you might have to fight for a table outside but it's worth it for a cold beer (Polish and Bavarian beers are available on tap) and some relaxed people watching.
