Deck 5 Skybeach

Deck 5 is a great concept: what could have been the fifth level of a parking complex was simply too beautiful a location to ignore. Instead, Deck 5 was born: a rooftop beach bar with chilled out music, sand, outdoor tables, and great views of the TV tower, church spires, and roof tops of East Berlin. It's no wonder this place is particularly popular at sunset.

You might have trouble finding the entry: you can take the shopping mall's elevator up to the fifth floor, or you might have to use the stairway on Greifenhagener Str. if you can't get into the shopping centre (be prepared for a bit of a hike up the stairs in this case!). You can get your drinks directly at the bar, then sit back and enjoy the chilled out vibe and wonderful views. Deck 5 is open in the summer months from May each year.
