この小さなオペラ施設は、Landsberger Alleeの近くに位置しており、病院、プール、そして税務署が近くにあります。そして今、元東ベルリンのこの工業地帯には独自のオペラ団体があります。

Hauptstadt Operは、ベルリンで最も小さなオペラハウスであると主張しています。誰もが異議を唱えていません。オペラ歌手たちは、あまり知られていない音楽の傑作を再構築し、劇場のディレクターは観客のためにケーキを焼きます。ここでのパフォーマンスは、典型的なオペラハウスの観客向けではありません。ジャック・オッフェンバッハ、ヴィヴァルディ、フォン・フロトー、レハールなど、小規模な出演者のための、より少なく知られている作品があります。オペラ・ガラ、レビュー、展示会、そして訪問アーティストによるゲスト出演もあります。

Hauptstadt Operの隣接するカフェは、水曜日から日曜日の午後に営業しており、劇場ディレクターのKirstin Hasselmann自ら手作りのケーキを提供しています。オペラとケーキ？完璧な午後のようです。
