過去4年間に100万人以上の訪問者が訪れた、写真美術館は、ベルリンの主要な観光スポットです。

ヘルムート・ニュートン財団とクンストビブリオテークの写真コレクションは、常設展示を行っており、合計2000平方メートルのスペースがあります。2010年に完全な改装が行われ、建物の上階には19世紀から21世紀までのあらゆる種類の写真をテーマにした入れ替わり展示が行われています。美術館には常時約16万枚の写真が展示されており、最も古いものは1868年に遡ります。また、年間を通して複数の一時展示も行われます。美術館では一般公開およびキュレーションされたツアー、さらには1日のワークショップ（ドイツ語）も開催しています。

Uバーン、Sバーン、およびバス停が近くにあり、交通アクセスも優れています。営業時間は火曜日から日曜日の10時から18時です。月曜日は休館日です。チケットは10ユーロで入手できます。
