ヘルムート・ニュートンは、史上最も有名なファッション写真家の一人です。彼の作品はしばしばVogueなどの雑誌で紹介され、彼の画像は今では広く模倣されています。

ドイツ生まれのユダヤ人で、父親が強制収容所に一時収容された後、1938年に東南アジアに逃れました。彼はオーストラリアで若年期の残りを過ごし、その後ヨーロッパに戻り、ロンドンやパリで働いて時間を過ごしました。

博物館は毎日オープンしており、入場料は€10（子供や高齢者は€5）で、毎週日曜日の午後4時からガイド付きツアーがあります。最寄りの公共交通機関の停留所は、列車と地下鉄のシステムの両方でZoologischer Gartenです。
