2010年、かつての秘密警察本部のサイトとSS指導部のオフィスは、展示およびドキュメンテーションセンターに変身しました。 恒久展示「トポグラフィー・オブ・テラー」では、秘密警察で一般的に知られるゲシュタポやSSの役割、並びにヨーロッパ全域でこれらの組織が犯した犯罪の情報が詳しく説明されています。

サイトには、常設と特別巡回展示があるドキュメンテーションセンターがあります。 ドキュメンテーションセンターの展示に補完するために設計された屋外展示には、15のステーションがあり、歴史的サイトの概要が示されます。 この展示では、ベルリンの壁の一部と以前アクセスできなかったプリンツ・アルブレヒト通りの歴史的遺物が統合されています。
