この古いクネーペは、ドイツ統一後にボンからベルリンに移った政治家たちにとっての第二の故郷でした。1997年に開業したStävバー＆レストランでは、カリーヴルスト、フラムクーヘン、ヒンメルウントエードなどの伝統的なドイツ料理が提供され、ケルシュビール（ケルンでしか醸造されない）を含むさまざまなビールも提供されています。
ここを訪れる有名人はたくさんおり、ほとんどがドイツ人ですが、国際的な有名人もいます。店内の壁には、彼らの顧客やドイツ政治史の人物の額入り写真が飾られています。
イースタータイムにケルンのカーニバルを祝うのに最適な場所であり、この川岸の施設ほどドイツらしいものはありません。
