Description

Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation or hotel within Berlin’s S-Bahn ring at no extra cost. To maximize comfort, please wait indoors until you receive a text message confirming your pickup.

Travel in a luxury SUV with leather seats, air conditioning, and elevated seating for better city views. The tour is private but follows a well-planned route highlighting Berlin’s most important and interesting historical sites.

The tour covers Berlin’s evolution from the Prussian and imperial era through World War II destruction and division into East and West sectors. It explains the ideological split between capitalism and communism, and the peaceful reunification in 1989. Since then, Berlin has grown into a dynamic city with government institutions near the former border and a diverse cultural scene.

The drive includes stops for short walks, such as at Potsdamer Platz, which was once part of the Berlin Wall death strip and later redeveloped into a modern urban quarter. The route continues north past former ministerial gardens toward Brandenburg Gate, with a visit to the Holocaust Memorial featuring 2711 steles dedicated to the six million murdered Jews of Europe. Brandenburg Gate itself marked the boundary between East and West Berlin and was originally a city gate from the baroque period.

The tour typically begins with highlights in West Berlin, including more driving between sites, followed by visits to historically significant locations in East Berlin.
