We are looking forward to: On 1st Advent Sunday, the 25th Berlin Naschmarkt will take place. As always, there are many sweet treats - this time around almonds and marzipan. And it will be festive with cookies, gingerbread, Stollen & Co.
Children can join in the pre-Christmas KeksWerkstatt, and young people and adults are invited to taste the snack shop, get to know the sweet food industry and meet experts.
From 13 o'clock the annual sweetener's award will take place for the best Berlin treats. The jury will be the Berlin Master Chef 2018 Daniel Achilles, the food journalist Stefanie Hofeditz and the cook and author Sophia Hoffmann.
The Berlin Naschmarkt has been presenting the sweet food industry in the region since 2011. The Naschmarkt stands for quality: Quality-oriented producers who work without genetically modified ingredients, synthetic flavors or artificial preservatives are selected to participate. The products offered are made from natural ingredients and are free of genetic engineering. Animal raw materials such as eggs must come from animal welfare. Preference is given to raw materials from organic farming, fair trade and from the region or according to the season.
The Berlin Naschmarkt has been held since 2011 by Markthalle Neun in cooperation with Slow Food Berlin and the Office for Culinary Measures. With the kind support of the Berlin master chefs.
