Description
Look forward to SISTER ACT - DAS HIMMLISCHE MUSICAL at the BlueMax Theater Berlin and experience a show that combines humor, heart, and rousing music. Based on the cult film, the musical delights with a unique mix of gospel, glitz, and feel-good entertainment. The story of the spirited nightclub singer Deloris van Cartier, who goes into hiding in a convent after being placed in a witness protection program, provides plenty of surprises and laughter.
At the beginning, you can expect the energetic opening scene in which Deloris witnesses a murder and has to hide in the convent. There she meets a choir that is in dire need of a breath of fresh air. With Deloris' energy, the church choir is transformed into a musical sensation that captivates not only the nuns, but the entire audience. Look forward to songs written by Oscar winner Alan Menken and experience how the nuns make the stage light up with their voices and costumes.
Throughout the evening, you will enjoy a production full of colorful costumes, impressive voices, and surprising twists. The show culminates in a grand finale when the choir performs in front of the Pope and Deloris and her new friends surpass themselves together. After the performance, your evening ends in the heart of Berlin, perfect for letting the impressions linger or for exploring the city further.
