Situated at Spandauer Straße 2, the Berlin Icebar offers a unique and chilly adventure for those looking to experience the sensation of the arctic without leaving the German capital. Inside this themed bar, everything from the decor to the drinking vessels is crafted entirely from ice. Guests are invited to partake in a simulated polar expedition, surrounded by intricately carved ice sculptures and an ambiance chilled to around -10°C. This immersive experience draws inspiration from a historic German polar journey, adding a touch of authenticity and storytelling to the visit.

With an entrance ticket, each visitor enjoys three complimentary drinks, blending a variety of choices such as cocktails, beers, and even ice-cold shots, which are customarily served in glasses made of ice. For those who prefer non-alcoholic options, delightful soft drinks are also available. Before venturing into the icy main bar, patrons can enjoy a cozy prelude at the warm front bar, designed in thematic style while providing a respite from the cold.

The Berlin Icebar is ideally suited for a wide range of visitors, from curious tourists seeking a novel experience to groups of friends looking for a memorable night out. Its amusement park-like elements make it especially appealing for those intrigued by themed environments and unique drinking encounters. Moreover, the venue encourages frequent photo-taking, providing a distinct backdrop ideal for sharing on social media.

Fun to go with friends, they give you a glass made of ice and overall it’s a good experience for the price. Make sure to come at least 30 mins before as when we booked the last slot and arrived at 9, like said on the ticket, we had to come on another day for the show (the show is just a 5 min video which can totally be skipped. The cold room is the true experience!)

Decided to stop in here after walking all day. Didn’t really know what to expect at first. Darragh server was very helpful in picking a drink out. Thanks! Drink menu has a good selection of cocktails, beer and long drinks Atmosphere has a cool vibe at the bar area They have merchandise you can purchase Recommend go at least 15 mins early to have and enjoy the first drink slowly. It was so hot outside I guzzled mine down in 1 min. Inside the ice bar is small but definitely a ‘cool’ experience (yes, pun intended 😂). Places to sit, and the ice shots are really neat. They come in an ice shot glass and the bartender (and manager were also very nice and helpful) recommended a peach and Malibu mixed shot which was fantastic. A great experience and glad we decided to stop on in after a hot day of walking.

We visited the Berlin Ice Bar just after opening on Thursday and had such a fun experience! All of the staff were incredibly polite and friendly, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The drinks were great, and the actual Ice Bar experience was fantastic with loads of fun photo opportunities throughout. They also provide coats and gloves, which was a great touch and made it much more comfortable inside. We didn’t book online as we had a voucher from our hotel, but if you intend to visit at a busier time I recommend booking in advance. We absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Berlin!

Random, rushed… not worth the money. A driver behind the many positive reviews must be free shots for good reviews (see photo). After the introduction of a distracted, slightly rude staff member, we were led into the ice bar which was underwhelming. Most people of our group left after 15-20 minutes, even if the experience was meant to be 45 minutes.

A must-visit for anyone visiting Berlin. The narrative offered is fun and the staff were attentive. The drinks are good and the ice bar itself is brilliant. I also LOVE the passport and stamping.
