装飾美術は美しくて機能的なクラフトの製作です。ベルリンのKunstgewerbemuseumは、最も入念で美しい機能的オブジェクトに関する詳細を知りたい場所です。

コレクションには、金や貴重な宝石で作られた壮麗な聖遺物容器、ガラスや磁器の絶品花瓶、精巧に刺繍された織物、豪華な象嵌家具、そして現代産業デザインの典型的な例が含まれています。

Kunstgewerbemuseumが開催する常設展示と特別展示は、ベルリンの2か所で鑑賞できます：ポツダム広場の近くにあるKulturforumと、ダーメ川の島にある絵のような景色のSchloss Köpenick。Schloss Köpenickサイトでは、16世紀から18世紀のインテリアデザインの傑作が展示されています。

2017/2018年、ベルリンの装飾美術博物館は150周年を祝っています！このため、博物館では、博物館の始まりとその建物を振り返る一連の展示会が行われます。

博物館は毎日10時から18時まで開館しており、月曜日は休館日です。
入場料は一般8ユーロ、割引4ユーロです。
