この美術館のコレクションは、アジア全体の美術品を網羅しており、特に南アジア、東南アジア、中央アジアからの彫刻に焦点を当てています。合計で2万点の工芸品を誇り、アジア美術の進化を紀元前4千年から現代まで見ることができます。

このコレクションは、1873年にインドのコレクションとして始まりましたが、すぐに拡大し、1992年に現在の形になりました。

サイトは月曜日に閉鎖され、火曜日から日曜日は午前10時から午後6時まで開館しています。カフェや小さなショップもあり、観覧の後にリラックスして思い出を持ち帰ることができます。
