Description
Experience East Berlin – silent, impressive, and full of history!
This tour is accessible for everyone! Wheelchair users of all kinds are welcome on our ship.
Join us on an unforgettable tour where we'll guide you almost silently through the fascinating mix of nature, water, and history in Berlin's east. Sit back and enjoy the unique perspective on a side of Berlin that many visitors never get to see.
Our journey starts off relaxed at our harbor. First, we'll head a bit west: we'll glide under the imposing Oberbaumbrücke and pass the famous East Side Gallery – the longest open-air gallery in the world. The path leads us to the historic heart of Berlin, the charming Nikolai Quarter. Before the lock, we'll turn around at the historic harbor and head east.
Now the view of the impressive radial system opens up. After passing the Oberbaumbrücke again, we dive into the Osthafen - once an important ship handling point of the GDR. We'll continue towards Treptower Park, a place full of history, nature, and the scene of one of the most spectacular escapes from the GDR.
We'll continue our tour to the traditional Eierhäuschen, turn there, and then glide past the legendary Berlin radio house. A short detour takes us to Rummelsburg Bay, where we'll do a little lap before heading back to our harbor.
An experience between water, nature, and contemporary history – perfect for Berlin lovers, nature lovers, and explorers.
