Description
Meet in Berlin and travel together to Lübbenau by train — the greenest way to get there, and honestly the most relaxing way to start any adventure. About an hour later, step out into a different world.
At the kayak base, get your gear, run through a quick safety briefing (no experience needed — these canals are calm and beginner-friendly), and then follow your guide through the most beautiful waterways the Spreewald has to offer.
Paddle through quiet channels, under wooden bridges, and past traditional Sorbian houses right on the water. Halfway through, stop for lunch at a wonderfully authentic restaurant tucked between the canals — the kind of place you'd never find on your own.
After lunch, paddle back to the starting point, taking in the forest, the birds, and the kind of silence Berlin never gives you.
