Description

Immerse yourself in the history of the Bayerisches Viertel in Berlin Schöneberg, a district where some of the most important artists, writers, and scientists of the early 20th century lived. On this scenic guided tour, the past is brought to life, and you can expect exciting insights into the biographies of Claire Waldoff, Albert Einstein, Billy Wilder, Carl Zuckmayer, and other extraordinary people who lived and worked here. We visit the former homes of these personalities, in front of which selected prose, poetry, and theatrical dialogues by the writers are presented in a live performance. With selected texts and moving narratives, the voices of these great minds will once again resonate through the streets of Schöneberg. In an interplay of biography and work, we immerse ourselves in the world of thought of those who shaped Berlin culturally and scientifically before the Second World War. Look forward to an extraordinary guided tour where history is not only told, but also experienced.
