Description
Supporting up-and-coming talent has always been a top priority for Quatsch Comedy Club founder Thomas Hermanns. That’s why the “Talentschmiede,” now known as the Quatsch Comedy Hot Shot, was launched in 2003. Here, an experienced comedian introduces the best comedy newcomers in the country on the world-famous Quatsch Comedy Club stage. Over the years, around 1,000 participants from all over the world have showcased their talents on our stage, including names like Felix Lobrecht, Ben Schmid, Tobias Freudenthal, and, of course, the ever-popular Cindy aus Marzahn.
Each participant has just six minutes to prove they truly deserve the coveted title of 'Hot Shot.' The audience takes on the role of talent scout, deciding with their applause who advances to the next round in the battle for the title 'Quatsch Comedy Hot Shot'. Those who manage to be voted the audience favorite three times in a row earn the 'Golden Ticket' and the chance to perform in the legendary live show of the Quatsch Comedy Club.
