Description
Founded by Thomas Hermanns, the Quatsch Comedy Hot Shot began in 2003 to support emerging talent on the world-famous Quatsch Comedy Club stage. An experienced comedian introduces the best newcomers in German comedy, giving each participant six minutes to compete for the title 'Hot Shot.'
The audience acts as the talent scout, deciding who advances in the competition based on applause. Comedians who win the audience's favor three times consecutively receive the 'Golden Ticket' to perform in the Quatsch Comedy Club’s main live show. Notable past participants include Felix Lobrecht, Ben Schmid, Tobias Freudenthal, and Cindy aus Marzahn.
