Description
Celebrate the festive season with a private pottery workshop in Berlin's Kreuzberg district. Meet at the argillerìa ceramics studio, in the hip Gräfekiez. Enjoy a warm and welcoming atmosphere filled with mulled wine, herbal tea, and seasonal cookies.
Begin with a mug of mulled wine in hand as your host, Italian ceramic artist Ennio Nobili, guides you through the basics of clay handling and two hand-building techniques: pinching and coiling. Learn how to open a ball of clay with your thumbs and draw up the walls, and how to roll ropes of clay and stack them into a shape.
Over the course of 2 hours, create your own tea or coffee mugs, decorate them with studio tools, and keep the mulled wine and Christmas cookies flowing. At the end of the session, clean up and leave your mugs to be professionally glazed and kiln-fired. Your finished mugs will be ready for pickup at the studio 3 to 5 weeks later.

Important Information
- Wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting clay on, and keep nails trimmed short for easier clay handling.
- Mulled wine is served to participants of legal drinking age. Non-alcoholic festive teas are available for everyone.
- Finished mugs are ready for pickup at the studio 3 to 5 weeks after the event. Shipping within Germany can be arranged and is calculated after the workshop.
- Photos and filming are welcome throughout the session.
