Description

Wine enjoyment without pressure. Without rules. Without haste. Just take a seat. Take a deep breath. Enjoy. On the terrace directly on the Mauerweg, at the former Wall. Or cozily by the fireplace in winter. Here at the Mauerwinzer, you have the opportunity to taste German wines that you would not otherwise find in Berlin. Wines from outstanding small family businesses from Germany's 13 wine-growing regions. Be amazed at how good white wine can taste, even when it's getting on in years – a mature Silvaner or Riesling can be a true delight. Or dare to try natural wine – well-made orange wine is like a well-maintained classic car. Quite different from today's cars (or wines). Just like in the old days. Maybe not for every day. But definitely a pleasurable experience that lasts. Or enjoy traditionally produced sparkling wine that has aged for years – made according to a process that is standard in Champagne. Or get an overview first with a trio of three classic wines. The choice is yours – you can make an appointment that is completely customized – with no time constraints. No minimum number of participants. Just according to your taste.

Includes

At the wine tasting, you will receive 0.1 L per wine (the number varies depending on which offer you have chosen) to try. You will also receive mineral water and bread. The wine – the growing region, grape variety, production process, distinctive features – will be explained to you. Your questions will be answered. You can take your time during the tasting.

Excludes

If you would like to eat cheese platters, flammkuchen, vintage sardines, or something else with the wine tasting – or afterwards – this will be charged as an add-on. Of course, you can stay at the Mauerwinzer after the tasting and continue to enjoy wine – you have free choice – but you will then have to pay for these glasses.
