Description
Experience a unique combination of city history and culinary delights with your class, club, or group. Accompanied by passionate kebab experts, you will discover Berlin, the Wall, and historical sites on a roughly 4-hour walking tour and learn how the kebab became one of Berlin's most famous landmarks.
The tour starts by appointment at the Kulturbrauerei in Prenzlauer Berg and is offered in German or English. Together, you will walk along the historic Oderberger Straße along the former course of the Wall to Bernauer Straße, where the Wall still stands as it did back then. The path leads through the Gleimtunnel and the Mauerpark to a hidden kebab shop behind the park.
There, everyone enjoys a homemade döner kebab with freshly baked bread and homemade sauces. Vegetarian and vegan options are of course available. The tour then takes you along Schönhauser Allee to Eberswalder Straße, where the Kulturbrauerei is located, i.e., the starting point.
Look forward to delicious surprises, exciting stories, entertaining anecdotes, and moving insights into Berlin's history. The tour connects the development of the doner kebab with the history of Berlin and offers a shared experience that combines culture, enjoyment, and team spirit in a special way.
